to find a suitable walk, from an evening stroll along the beach to a four day hike. A highlight is the Kerry Way which runs behind Fuchsia Lodge.
Swim in one of the many blue flag beaches in the area. Kerry is blessed with pristine beaches and sheltered coves, having the most blue flag beaches in the country. There are 13 Blue Flag beaches, including Derrynane, Ballinskelligs, Kells, White Strand and Rossbeigh in the immediate area. Enjoy long walks year round, beachcombing and watching the dancing light on the water.

With 700km2 of truly dark skies certified by the International Dark Sky Association, the area is a must for astonomers. The Kerry Dark Sky Reserve is recognised as having some of the darkest night skies in Europe.
With nearly 1,000km of varied Atlantic coastline, Kerry is a surfer's paradise. No matter your experience, there are great surfing beaches and schools nearby that cater to pros and novices.
The Skellig Region has an enviable reputation for its popular cultural and sporting events, which are loved by locals and visitors alike. There are excellent arts and music festivals throughout the year and the pubs are always busy with traditional music sessions.
